UnityWorks is growing!

Sep.05, 2014

We are excited to share the news that UnityWorks is growing!  We remain committed to our mission of promoting an understanding of the oneness of humanity, the value of diversity and the need for unity, and we have established a 501c3 nonprofit foundation to help carry this work into the future.

The new UnityWorks Foundation will provide training, materials and support to empower local communities to raise prejudice-free children, and encourage schools to develop learning environments where students from all backgrounds can be successful.

Our initial goal is to establish K-12 school programs in multiple cities over the next 5-10 years, helping thousands of teachers and students to learn about unity in diversity. Read more on our new website:

Educational Resources: We will continue to offer high-quality, low-cost, easy-to-use materials including teacher’s guides, colorful PowerPoints, race conversation starter kits, and other resources through our online Bookstore.

The Teaching Unity website will remain active and our free downloads will still be available for those who have purchased the book.

Staying in Touch: You will continue to receive our newsletter 3-4 times per year. It will feature the UnityWorks Foundation masthead and logo, but it’s still us!

In addition to announcements of new resources, free items and specials, we will include updates on our diversity training activities and our new K-12 School Program.

We also have a new Foundation Facebook page and Twitter feed. You can “like” us to join the conversation with people from around the world.

About Us: We are delighted to introduce the UnityWorks Board of Directors, along with Dr. Roya Bauman (Special Assistant to the Board) and Jordan Gottlieb (our Marketing and Design Specialist).

We look forward to being of even greater service in the years ahead.  –Randie Gottlieb, Ed.D., UnityWorks

Dr. Gottlieb was in Orlando once again, this time for a presentation on UnityWorks itself:

* What is UnityWorks?
* How and why did it get started and how does it work?
* What are some of the challenges, successes and lessons learned?
* Opportunities and next steps?

The session was repeated twice to an enthusiastic crowd.
